We have elected to use the Sotheby’s title of  The Guitarist, as listed in their auction records, however other listings show the title as Music in New Orleans or New Orleans Musician. 

It was estimated by Sotheby’s at $2,000-3,000 No date listed for auction.

Auction listing was in French so it could have been from New Orleans, the Caribbean or other French speaking location.
