Archangel Michael-Church in Mora, Sweden and the Belfry have been a major part of the community for hundreds of years. Mora is said by the Swedes as being the birthplace of Santa Claus. It has been a major town and tourist destination since the early 1300’s; so it would not be a surprise that Millet and his associates would have traveled their during breaks in their studies in Antwerp.
