Tiffany Associated Artists. FD Millet and George Ewell completed the “History of War” frieze that surrounds the Veterans Room.
American Academy of Arts and Letters

Cody Upton, Executive Director of the American Academy of Arts and Letters, speaks to the long and distinguished history of the Academy since 1898. Francis Davis Millet was inducted into the prestigious academy in 1910, which mostly recognized outstanding writers, as a part of the expansion of the academy in 1908 to more fully recognize leading painters and other artists. Millet remained a member until his death in 1912.
