Following a years remote research into the two academic years FD Millet spent in Antwerp at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts was culminated with a trip to the Academy in June 2023, by Michael Sullivan.  Through the very kind assistance of the research coordinators at the City Archives a number of books of potential Academy student records were identified.  Dr. Peter Bosteels, professor of wood engraving and a fluent French speaker was kind enough to assist in the initial translation of numerous pages of student achievement records.  These records included class work, and competition records for 1871-1872 class year and for the 1872-1873 year.
