“Aurora” Study by Millet as a youth of Guido Reni’s fresco in Borghese Gallery, Rome

The Pioneer,” by Francis Davis Millet.  38”x57” (oil on canvas), it is a ‘working painting’ which depicts a frontiersman with a gun.  It is unsigned.

Indian Squaw with Kettle,” by Francis Davis Millet.  53”x58” (pastel), it is a ‘working drawing’ which is unsigned.
