The collected documents include lists, copies and photographs of Millet, family, friends and associates. There is the possibility that these are copies and transcriptions (made by Peter Engstrom) of notes made by James Hunt, who was a devoted friend of Franks for most of his life and kept a record of Millet’s artwork, correspondence, news clippings, photos etc. and came from Hunts estate upon his death. The comprehensive typed list of Millet creative output and commentary about Millet, included here, shows that it came from the James Hunt Estate following his death and seems to have been compiled by Hunt during and at least shortly after Frank Millet’s death, because it does include notes about the 1912 Memorial meeting in DC and other memorials. Many of these original items are held in the American Archive of Arts in the Smithsonian.
