Need to verify the provenance of this painting. It is not known in the historical records as yet identified.
If this painting is authenticated as a Francis Davis Millet painting it would be one of the last paintings of his life, since he died on the Titanic in April of 1912. It’s location is correct for a painting by FDM since he was in Europe in 1912 and Stanton is not too far from Broadway where Millet lived.
