Description
This painting has had several names attached to it, But the title given it by Millet was “Grandpa’s Visit” and it was signed FD Millet and dated 1885, and is shown in the MFA Boston under that name. Other names that have been used in publications were, “The Granddaughter, and Better!” both of which seem to have been added pub the editors of the magazines. “Grandfathers Visit” is a third name used in some resources.
